Redeemed
"Redeemed" is a spoken word duo that was created in 2008 by Christin Barthel and Rebecca Beard. "Redeemed" ministers through spoken word (poetry) at various youth events, revivals, conventions, concerts, community programs, and church services. "Redeemed" believes God has called them and set them aside for such a time as this; so that they may use their gift as a voice crying out in their generation "Prepare ye the way of the Lord". Through God "Redeemed" desires to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world to all generations.
The Artist
Christin Barthel and Rebecca Beard both attend Cornerstone Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Bishop W.L. Butler, Sr. Christin and Rebecca also attend The Ohio State University. Christin is majoring in Social Work and Rebecca in Early Childhood Education. They both are extremely active members in their community and participate in multiple outreach programs and volunteering services. Rebecca and Christin have a heart for their generation and desire to see all people, from all walks of life, proclaim the name of Jesus Christ.
